Senior Frontend Engineer (Product Engineering) Remote · Eastern Hemisphere (timezone overlap required) FINN is a fintech company dedicated to simplifying and enhancing financial well-being for underbanked employees. Established in 2022, FINN is the leading player in the early wage access market in Southeast Asia and is rapidly expanding into new global markets. We are seeking ambitious and self-motivated engineers who are eager to take ownership, work swiftly, and shape products that can significantly impact people's lives. This is a high-ownership individual contributor role. You will collaborate closely with our Frontend Lead and a small, growing team (currently 3 members, scaling to 5+), delivering features across both web and mobile platforms. Your Responsibilities

* Design and implement complex, user-facing features for web and mobile (using Angular and Ionic)

* Own the development process from start to finish: identify the challenge, outline the strategy, deliver quickly, and refine based on real usage

* Contribute to our technical strategy by promoting better practices, tools, and developer experiences

* Work closely with product and design teams to define solutions, not just execute on specifications

* Produce high-quality, performant code at a rapid pace - balance quality with speed

* Elevate the team's standards through constructive code reviews, technical guidance, and leading by example

Our Workflow At FINN, we value clear thinking and minimal bureaucracy. Engineers are provided with the context and autonomy needed to solve problems effectively. We frequently release new features, learn from live usage, and make practical trade-offs. We plan enough to move confidently, but never to the point of slowing down. AI in Our Workflow AI is integral to our development process. We integrate LLMs daily for coding, debugging, automated code reviews, and design document reviews. We are also building internal tools to enhance this integration within the Engineering team. We expect engineers to leverage AI as a tool to enhance their productivity and to contribute ideas on how to improve this integration. What We're Looking For

* At least 5 years of experience in shipping complex, user-facing products in production (web and mobile preferred)

* Strong instincts for product design; you challenge decisions that don't serve the user

* Proficient in TypeScript, including component architecture, state management, and performance optimization

* Ability to operate independently: you take ownership of problems and drive them to completion

* Pragmatic judgment in balancing architectural considerations with the need to ship and learn

* Effective communicator who can clearly articulate tradeoffs and advocate for your approach

Our stack includes Angular and Ionic. Experienced engineers from React, Vue, or other modern frameworks can quickly adapt - we prioritize fundamental skills over specific framework experience. This Role May Not Be For You If
