We seek a candidate with practical experience in RPG/RPGLE development on IBM AS400/iSeries, along with verified skills in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne development tools.

We are not seeking an infrastructure manager, a JD Edwards functional consultant, or an AS400 developer without JD Edwards expertise. The ideal candidate should be capable of working technically on both platforms, diagnosing production issues, updating existing customizations, and contributing to system integrations.

Responsibilities:

- Craft, adjust, debug, and preserve RPG, RPGLE, and CL scripts on IBM AS400/iSeries. - Examine and address technical challenges, performance issues, and operational failures. - Design, adapt, and support JD Edwards EnterpriseOne solutions. - Engage with JD Edwards modules including Financials, Inventory, Distribution, Procurement, and Manufacturing. - Modify and develop JD Edwards components such as: - Business Functions - Batch Reports (UBEs) - Named Event Rules (NERs) - Table Conversions - Business Views - Utilize Object Management Workbench (OMW) for managing development objects and lifecycle processes. - Create and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and data operations using DB2. - Integrate JD Edwards with external applications via APIs, EDI, flat files, and other data exchange methods. - Offer technical and functional support to internal stakeholders. - Participate in JD Edwards upgrades, ESU installations, patch releases, and system improvements. - Prepare technical documentation, development guidelines, and support manuals. - Maintain source code and technical objects adhering to development best practices and coding standards. - Work with functional teams, infrastructure groups, and business users to identify, analyze, and resolve operational requirements.

Required Qualifications:

- At least 3 years of professional experience with IBM AS400/iSeries. - Proven hands-on experience with: - RPG - RPGLE - CL - IBM AS400/iSeries - Experience developing, supporting, or customizing JD Edwards EnterpriseOne. - Strong understanding of JD Edwards development tools such as: - Object Management Workbench (OMW) - Business View Design - UBE Design - Business Functions - Named Event Rules (NERs) - Familiarity with SQL and DB2. - Capability to troubleshoot operational issues and maintain live enterprise systems. - Analytical skills to convert technical needs into practical business solutions. - English proficiency at a minimum B2 level for meeting participation, comprehension of technical literature, and effective communication with international teams.
