Overview:

Join LSA Video, Inc., as a Video Remote Interpreter and contribute to our mission of bridging language barriers on diverse projects, leveraging cutting-edge technology in the language services field.

Responsibilities:

- Utilize a web-based VRI system for interpretation - Respond promptly to incoming calls - Offer basic technical support to clients (seek assistance from a manager or IT if needed) - Deliver exceptional customer service

Qualifications/Experience:

- Ensure compliance with relevant national, state, or local licensing or certification requirements (as applicable) - Follow the Code of Professional Conduct - Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail in fast-paced settings - Possess strong oral and written communication skills in English and the target language - Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with clients from various business sectors - Have experience working in a Windows environment (preferred) - Preferably, have prior experience with VRI systems - Familiarity with PC troubleshooting is advantageous - Prior interpreting experience is a plus

For PC Users: - Operating System: Windows 8.1 or later - Processor: AMD A8 or Intel Core i5 or faster - Memory: 4GB RAM - Storage: 40 MB free space on hard drive - Internet: High-speed connection (5 Mbps download/5 Mbps upload) - Recommended Webcam: Logitech WebCam® C920 HD Pro or better

For MAC Users: - Compatible Mac with Intel Core i5 (5th generation) - Operating System: Mac OS X Yosemite 10.10 or newer - Memory: 4GB RAM - Storage: 40 MB free space on hard drive - Recommended Browsers: Latest Firefox or Safari, and Apple software updates - Internet: High-speed connection (5 Mbps download/5 Mbps upload) - Recommended Webcams: Internal iSight or Logitech C920 Pro (must be compatible with MAC)

Recommended USB Headset: - Plantronics USB Headsets

Backdrops: - Use a chroma key blue backdrop - Dimensions: Minimum width of 46 1/2 inches, maximum height of 63 inches, minimum height of 49 5/8 inches - Available at: www.TheWebAround.com (56” diameter)

Room Lighting: - Artificial light should be used (preferably incandescent) - Lighting will be tested to optimize conditions
