About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and commercially oriented Senior Legal Counsel with extensive B2B iGaming experience to enhance Playson's Legal Team.

This position offers a significant level of autonomy with extensive interaction across various business sectors. You will collaborate closely with top management and interdisciplinary teams, providing legal support for commercial activities, regulatory issues, governance, and daily legal decision-making in multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead jurisdictional due diligence initiatives in our licensed markets, ensuring comprehensive regulatory compliance and forward-looking risk management. - Author, negotiate, and finalize intricate commercial agreements, striving for favorable terms while protecting the organization's legal interests. - Design and uphold corporate governance structures, offering strategic risk and policy advice to leadership. - Collaborate with Compliance, Product, and other business divisions to align legal insights with commercial goals and product development plans. - Stay abreast of changing regulations, trends, and best practices, converting this knowledge into practical guidance for executive decision-making. - Offer prompt, compliant legal advice on emerging issues to facilitate swift, informed decisions.

Requirements

- LLB or LLM (or equivalent). - Minimum 3 years PQE, with at least 2 years in the iGaming industry (essential). - Demonstrated capability to operate in complex, multi-jurisdictional environments and deliver practical, business-oriented solutions. - Exceptional contract drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder communication skills. - Organized, proactive, and results-driven with high ethical standards.
