Al-Hilal's Inzaghi Names Unlikely Substitute
In a surprising move, Al-Hilal's head coach Simone Inzaghi has named 20-year-old French midfielder Simon Bouabre as the replacement for injured Serbian star Sergej Milinkovic-Savic for the upcoming Clasico against Al-Ittihad.
Milinkovic-Savic, a key player for Al-Hilal, is out of the match due to an injury he sustained during international duty with Serbia. Inzaghi has chosen Bouabre to cover for his absence, despite the young player's limited experience and lack of recent appearances for the team.
Bouabre's Recent Performance and Background
Bouabre, who has only managed one appearance this season, came off the bench in the 2-1 win over Al-Gharafa in the AFC Champions League Elite last September. Since joining Al-Hilal in January, the 20-year-old has featured in 12 matches, starting only four and making no contributions to goals or assists.
Inzaghi's pick of Bouabre, who has not been in the squad for the last seven Roshn League matches, has raised eyebrows among football analysts and fans.
