Premier League Returns After City Verdict

Premier League Returns

The Premier League has resumed following a three-week hiatus after Manchester City were found guilty of severe financial rule breaches.

The first round of action will see Manchester City travel to Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday, with a hostile reception expected.

Key Match Predictions

Sports Illustrated predicts that Arsenal will face a tough challenge, as they re-emerge with a feeling of having been humiliated in their last match against Brighton.

Manchester United and Tottenham will face each other at 17:30, with fans able to listen on BBC Radio 5 Live.

Premier League clubs can now get real-time scores live on their phone lock screen, and can predict the outcome of matches through the BBC Sport app.

Team Line-Ups

Premier League writers have predicted the line-ups for each team in Matchweek 6, detailing injuries and player availability.

For example, Aston Villa’s Matty Cash is expected to return to the right-back position, while Leon Goretzka is not ready to face Brentford but is nearing a return.

Chelsea will be without Alex Scott for four to five weeks, while Bournemouth will face the challenge of playing without Amine Adli, Veljko Milosavljevic, and other injured players.
