Chelsea to lower Malo Gusto asking price
Chelsea may reduce the asking price for Malo Gusto, opening the door for Liverpool to sign the 23-year-old right-back in January.

Chelsea to lower Malo Gusto asking price
Chelsea may lower the asking price for Malo Gusto, a 23-year-old France international right-back, according to reports. The Blues initially wanted £75m for a permanent transfer, but Liverpool were unwilling to meet this figure, leading Chelsea to reconsider their stance.
The situation for Gusto at Stamford Bridge is uncertain, with questions growing over his long-term role under Xabi Alonso. His omission from the latest France squad has added to the uncertainty, with concerns over his reliability reportedly playing a part. At present, Gusto has made three Premier League starts this season and is currently not a first-team regular.
Chelsea's insistence on a permanent transfer or commitment to buy initially ended Liverpool's pursuit, but according to Dean Jones, Chelsea are now open to a January deal if the price is right. Liverpool had explored a late loan move before the deadline, but Chelsea were unwilling to sanction this type of deal.
