Portuguese federation suspends Cristiano Ronaldo
Cristiano Ronaldo faces disciplinary action after leaving Portugal national team camp during Nations League match.

Suspension
The Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) has provisionally suspended Cristiano Ronaldo after he left the national team camp during a Nations League match against Norway.
Ronaldo, 41, was left on the bench by head coach Jorge Jesus and subsequently walked out of the camp, leading to disciplinary proceedings.
Reasons for Suspension
The suspension is based on FPF regulations that state any player who 'abandons or fails to appear' without justification at a training session, match, or activity of the national teams 'shall be sanctioned with a suspension of one to six months,' in addition to a fine.
Ronaldo admitted he should not have left the camp and apologized to his teammates and supporters, calling on the federation to punish him.
Potential Impact
If the investigation concludes with the minimum penalty of one month, Ronaldo would miss upcoming matches against Denmark and Wales.
A harsher six-month suspension would rule him out of Portugal's next Nations League fixtures, including the quarterfinals scheduled for March.
