Klitschko Granted Guardianship Over Panettiere’s Estate
Wladimir Klitschko was granted temporary guardianship of Hayden Panettiere’s estate in a court hearing.

Court Hearing
On October 8, 2020, Wladimir Klitschko and his daughter Kaya, 11, appeared in court for a hearing regarding guardianship over Hayden Panettiere’s estate. Kaya, who is the sole beneficiary of Panettiere’s estate, was briefly on camera and spoke to the judge to confirm her identity.
Klitschko was granted temporary guardianship of Panettiere’s estate. The judge also stated that Kaya does not need to be present for the next hearing, set for December 7, 2020.
Guardianship Request
In September 2020, Klitschko filed a temporary guardianship request on behalf of Kaya, citing concerns that property belonging to Panettiere’s estate might be lost, damaged, or dissipated if the filing wasn’t dealt with immediately.
Klitschko’s attorney, Diane Y. Park, also requested additional powers, including the ability to request and authorize law enforcement to investigate and aid in the recovery of property believed to be misappropriated.
