Temperatures are expected to rise into the 80s this week, with a few showers possible in the far northwest Ozarks late Friday. Models predict a strong cold front with widespread rain and thunderstorms on Tuesday, bringing a chance of widespread rainfall and cooler weather by the end of the week.
The warmest temperatures are expected on Thursday, with high temperatures in the low 80s. By the weekend, a weak weather system is expected to spread some clouds, possibly leading to a few showers on Sunday morning.
Current Conditions and Forecasts
Wednesday started off with a comfortable day, with temperatures in the 70s and 80s. The weather will remain dry for most areas, although the far northwest Ozarks may see a few showers late Friday. By the weekend, temperatures will gradually warm, with a slight chance of showers on Sunday morning.
The cooler nights will continue, with temperatures dropping into the upper 50s and low 60s by tonight. A weak weather system on Saturday and Sunday may bring some clouds, but the majority of the weekend is expected to be dry and warm.
