Scope of Work

* Create and modify detailed parametric 3D CAD models of mechanical parts and assemblies using FreeCAD or comparable software.

* Develop comprehensive engineering drawings, including GD&T and tolerance stack-ups, suitable for manufacturing handoff.

* Design for a variety of manufacturing processes, such as sheet metal fabrication, CNC machining, plastics, and injection molding.

* Perform CAD validation and quality assurance reviews to ensure model accuracy and readiness for production use.

* Prepare clear, concise technical documentation and assembly instructions as reference materials for AI model training.

* Incorporate feedback from technical reviewers to revise and improve CAD models and supporting documents.

Preferred Qualifications

* Minimum 2 years’ experience designing mechanical components for manufacturing environments.

* Expertise in FreeCAD or similar parametric CAD software for advanced modeling, assemblies, and drawing generation.

* Hands-on exposure to sheet metal, CNC, plastics, and injection molding design considerations.

* Strong knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) best practices.

* Proven ability to produce production-grade CAD models and validate them against real-world manufacturability criteria.

* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, ensuring clarity in documentation and collaborative exchanges.
