Opportunity Overview: Miris is on the hunt for talented Backend Engineers to join our vibrant and fully remote engineering team. The perfect candidate will have hands-on experience in building a website backend with Go, securing web applications, and designing network architectures. You will be instrumental in supporting customers who use Miris to present 3D content for linear storytelling across various AR/VR devices. Key Responsibilities:

* Design backend services and the API layer for a multi-tenant streaming service

* Develop scalable and robust web server backend for customer and enterprise-facing applications

* Architect web applications and ensure their security

* Conduct code reviews, diagnose issues, and refine existing codebases to boost global performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability

Qualifications:

* At least 7 years of experience in backend services and API development

* Proven experience building high-traffic web services in Go

* Understanding of distributed, highly available, and scalable cloud-based systems

* Knowledge of architecture and patterns for complex web services

* Experience designing and implementing RESTish APIs

* Experience working with containers and CDNs

$102,693-$287,488 USD
