Role Title: Mathematics Expert Role Type: Contractor Location: Remote micro1 is engaging Mathematics Experts to participate in a high-impact customer project. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required - your domain knowledge is what matters. Scope of Work
* Review, evaluate, and generate solutions to advanced mathematical problems spanning pure and applied mathematics.
* Develop detailed, well-structured explanations, proofs, or technical analyses for a range of mathematical concepts and topics.
* Assess the accuracy, clarity, and rigor of mathematical outputs produced by AI systems, providing actionable feedback for improvement.
* Create and annotate high-quality, domain-specific datasets to inform model training and benchmarking.
* Document technical methodologies and communicate complex ideas clearly in written and verbal formats.
* Collaborate with a remote team of subject matter experts across diverse mathematical disciplines.
Preferred Qualifications
* BSc, MSc, or PhD in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or a closely related field.
* Demonstrated experience authoring research papers, mathematical proofs, or technical reports.
* Proficiency translating complex mathematical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on clarity and precision.
* Familiarity with current trends, open problems, or applications in mathematics and related fields.
* Experience reviewing or critiquing mathematical reasoning, logic, or computational solutions.
* Capability to work independently and manage deliverables in a fully remote engagement.
