Leeds Host Brentford at Elland Road With Both Sides Unbeaten

Leeds beat Nottingham Forest 1-0 away on the opening weekend, settled by an 88th-minute free-kick from German midfielder Anton Stach, struck with his right foot inside the near post of goalkeeper Matz Sels, according to The Sun. Three days later they returned to the City Ground and beat the same opponent 2-0 in the EFL Cup.

The Sun reports four debutants featured in the league win, with Harry Wilson having a goal ruled out for offside and centre-half Tarik Muharemovic, signed for £34m, denied by Sels. Odds Scanner UK notes Leeds kept clean sheets in both matches and sit ninth in the early standings.

Brentford, managed by Keith Andrews, beat Tottenham Hotspur 3-0 through Keane Lewis-Potter, Vitaly Janelt and Michael Kayode, with Igor Thiago missing a penalty.
