Man Arrested After Shooting at Teenagers Pranking with Toilet Paper
A Louisiana man faces multiple charges after shooting at high school students during a toilet-papering prank.

Incident Details
Travis Frederick, 71, from Arnaudville, Louisiana, was arrested and charged with attempted manslaughter, aggravated assault with a firearm, and aggravated criminal damage to property after shooting at high school students during a toilet-papering prank.
According to authorities, Frederick, who lives next to one of the targeted homes, went outside with a gun and fired a shot at least five students who were part of the homecoming prank. He also fired a second shot, striking a vehicle driven by a family member of one of the students.
The incident occurred on a street outside Arnaudville just before midnight on a Monday. No injuries were reported, but the case highlights how quickly a neighborhood prank can escalate into a criminal investigation.
Sheriff's Statement
Sheriff Becket Breaux of St. Martin Parish stated that Frederick's actions were an overreaction and could have turned deadly. He urged the public not to take the law into their own hands and called on residents to let law enforcement handle such situations.
Breaux said, 'You use deadly force on someone toilet papering someone’s house. That’s a little bit overboard, and basically, you’re sending someone to a death sentence for toilet papering.'
