Senior Brand Designer, Experiential Role
Your role will encompass shaping Synthesia's presence in global and local experiential moments—from major events and physical spaces to digital experiences surrounding them.
Positioned in EMEA, you can work remotely or based in London, with a preference for European hubs.
Reporting to @Antonia Delnevo, Head of Brand Design
Collaborating closely with @Adela Posse, a key member of the Brand Design team of seven talented designers.
✈️ Travel: Required within Europe and potentially the US, with future opportunities in APAC.
Brand Design at Synthesia
Our mission is to enhance clarity, build trust, and make experiences memorable. We emphasize foundational skills like typography, layout, and systems thinking, coupled with clear, straightforward communication.
We operate with minimal processes and high ownership. Designers are entrusted to lead projects from start to finish, collaborating closely with partners and delivering quality work outside Figma.
For Experiential roles, this involves creating robust concepts and maintaining a high production standard: developing systems, specifications, file hygiene, and ensuring flawless on-site execution.
Responsibilities
* Transform Synthesia's brand into physical and experiential environments globally
* Refine our event presence, covering trade shows, conferences, and customer events
* Design booths, spatial environments, signage, print materials, and merchandise, from initial design to final production
* Create cohesive identities for physical and digital touchpoints, including presentations, environments, social media, and event websites
* Design for digital events and webinars
* Storyboard and design motion and screen-based content for events and keynotes
* Collaborate closely with Field Marketing and cross-functional teams to bring ideas to life and set new standards for our presence
* Guide external vendors, agencies, and fabricators with art direction
* Manage production quality, including print setup, file preparation, and on-site execution
Requirements
* Minimum 6 years of experience in brand design, visual design, or experiential design, with hands-on experience in events
* Versatile designer capable of working across various mediums and crafts, with a willingness to explore new technologies
* Proven track record in designing physical environments and real-world brand experiences
* Strong visual skills in typography, layout, and the translation of physical-to-digital brands
* Expertise in print production and large-format design
* Fluency in Figma, with the ability to produce production-ready files in Adobe Illustrator
* Experience working across multiple mediums: physical, digital, and motion
* Proactive, organized, and results-driven, comfortable leading projects independently in a small, senior team
* Balances creative ambitions with feasibility, timelines, and budgets
* Effective at collaborating with and directing external partners, vendors, and agencies
* Strong communication skills, confident in presenting and defending design decisions to stakeholders
* Systems thinker, capable of developing scalable approaches for global implementation
* Comfortable managing various projects while maintaining a focus on experiential design
* Experience in B2B or tech environments
Nice to Have
* Experience integrating AI tools into your workflow to speed up ideation, iteration, or content creation
* Experience building websites using no-code tools like Framer or Splash
* Basic 3D modular design skills
* Industrial design knowledge
