About the role As the Team Lead for our Frontend development team, you will play a key role in driving the architecture, development, and delivery of high-quality software solutions. * Infra & DevOps Exposure: AWS, Kubernetes (K8s), Jenkins, FreeMarker
What you'll be doing
* Lead and mentor a team of Frontend developers within the Marketing Tech and Social domain.
* Drive high-level architecture and design decisions for complex software systems, ensuring high performance, scalability, and code quality.
* Lead major technical migration projects, specifically executing our roadmap to transition the platform to Nuxt.js and Server-Side Rendering (SSR).
* Focus heavily on performance engineering, optimizing site load speed, Core Web Vitals, and technical SEO for high-traffic environments.
* Maintain a heavily hands-on contribution level (coding, architecture, and code reviews) alongside line management responsibilities.
* Manage team members' performance, lead 1-on-1s, drive career development, and handle work allocation.
* Drive continuous improvement in development processes, modern tools, and delivery standards across the team.
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders, backend engineers, and product teams to refine requirements and ship high-quality features.
What you'll bring
* 8+ years of software development experience with a primary focus on Frontend technologies.
* 2+ years of experience in a formal leadership or line management role (mentoring, performance evaluations, work allocation).
* Strong technical mastery of JavaScript/TypeScript (ES6+), CSS preprocessors (Less/Sass), Webpack, and Git.
* Proven experience with state management architectures (e.g., Vuex, Redux, NgRx).
* Experience planning and executing large-scale web migrations, particularly with Nuxt.js or Server-Side Rendering (SSR) frameworks.
* Strong track record in web performance engineering, Core Web Vitals optimization, and technical SEO.
* Experience working in high-traffic, high-scale environments such as MarTech, AdTech, E-commerce, Betting, or Events platforms.
* Familiarity with modern end-to-end testing tools (e.g., Playwright) is a plus.
* Basic awareness/understanding of backend environments (Java, SpringBoot) and DevOps concepts (AWS, Kubernetes, Jenkins) is a plus.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
