About this job
About Chili Piper
Chili Piper is a B2B SaaS company dedicated to assisting GTM teams in converting inbound leads into valuable meetings swiftly. Our Demand Conversion Platform streamlines the connection process, reducing the friction typically found in the sales funnel.
We operate as a fully remote, global team that thrives on building impactful solutions, progressing rapidly, and enjoying the process. We are expanding rapidly and setting ambitious goals!
We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the Orchestrator, Chili Piper's GTM Control Layer.
Internally, this role is seen as a Product Market Fit, not a traditional roadmap management position. It is a leadership role for someone who enjoys crafting complex, enterprise-level products and has the insight to translate market and customer insights into focused product strategies that drive real adoption and business outcomes.
Orchestrator monitors signals from Chili Piper and external tools, decides on the appropriate actions, and implements them automatically. This includes addressing form abandonment, missed meetings, or cold outreach, assessing account fit, ownership, intent history, and CRM status, then initiating the next step, such as integrating with Salesloft, Outreach, or Gong Engage, alerting a representative, rescheduling a meeting, or sending a booking link.
You will oversee the full lifecycle of a product strategy: target audience, initial audience, market and customer insights, problem identification, desired outcome, value proposition, feasibility, importance, success indicators, initial adoption trigger, usage analysis, and business impact.
You will be in charge of the solution framework, defining what we offer and how it is delivered. You will not be responsible for the technical architecture, implementation, or product enablement execution. You will work closely with a Product Designer and a Product Engineering Lead to create solutions that are valuable, coherent, and practical to deliver.
This role requires robust judgment, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to transform complex processes, data, and customer needs into clear product guidance. It is ideal for someone eager to develop products that address real challenges for sophisticated users, with success measured by actual customer adoption.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing Orchestrator from start to finish, from market and customer insights through adoption, iterations, and long-term business impact - Defining the initial audience for each project and maintaining focus as new requests and edge cases arise - Identifying problems worth solving and turning signal detection, decision-making, and action into clear product directions - Establishing value, feasibility, priority, and success metrics, including what should trigger first adoption - Monitoring usage after launch and using feedback to improve the product and shape future steps - Ensuring consistency in signal types, decision-making logic, and external integrations, maintaining the system's predictability and reliability as it scales - Collaborating with a Product Designer on the user experience, onboarding process, and product-side enablement - Partnering with a Product Engineering Lead on technically sound and deliverable solutions - Prioritizing with precision, making decisive choices when faced with complex problems - Maintaining high standards for quality, ensuring that only work of the highest caliber is released
What we are looking for:
- Extensive experience in managing complex B2B SaaS products, with clear ownership of a product area or major initiatives - Strong product judgment, able to identify problems worth solving and make informed decisions in ambiguous environments - Hands-on experience with AI tools in daily product work, with a keen eye for where AI can enhance the user experience - The ability to simplify complexity and turn customer insights, data, and technical constraints into clear product decisions - A deep curiosity about users and markets, and a habit of building conviction through direct evidence - Technical acumen and the ability to engage effectively with technical users and engineering partners - A focus on delivering narrow solutions to learn quickly - Experience collaborating closely with Engineering, Design, and cross-functional partners in a fast-paced environment - A commitment to building products that solve real problems and are used, not just shipped
Nice to have:
- Experience building or owning third-party integrations, especially with CRM, sales engagement, or conferencing platforms - Experience with lead routing, distribution, or assignment logic - Experience with CRM or marketing automation platforms - Experience building enterprise-grade, data-rich SaaS products - Experience building or shipping with Claude or similar products
This role is ideal for someone energized by high ownership, independent judgment, and decision-making without a playbook. We offer substantial responsibility and significant autonomy, expecting you to lead your area, set direction, and make tough calls with incomplete information.
If you are seeking a highly structured environment with a lot of guidance, this may not be the best fit.
How this role functions:
We value clear ownership and close cross-functional collaboration.
- The Product Market Fit owns the target customer, problem, intended outcome, value, feasibility, priority, adoption, and business result - The Product Designer owns the user experience and product-side enablement - The Product Designer and Product Engineering Lead jointly own the solution architecture - The Product Engineering Lead owns the technical solution and delivery execution
