Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Vice President of Operations Transformation to lead the strategic design and execution of our unified Central Operations hub at Theoria Medical. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of specialized toolsets, automation platforms, and infrastructure to support our dual revenue streams: optimizing high-volume Fee-For-Service (FFS) revenue cycles while also scaling Value-Based Care (VBC) workflows.

Additionally, you will manage key central utilities such as Medical Records, Laboratory Integrations, and Referral Management, and drive the end-to-end operational implementation strategy with facility partners. You will also provide secondary oversight to ensure the efficient operation of our Telemedicine team, supporting LEAD facility launches and broad footprint coverage.

Key Responsibilities

Central Operations & Ancillary Services Ownership

- Centralized Hub Development: Design, staff, and scale a world-class Central Operations function to standardize support across multi-state providers, credentialing, and scheduling. - Medical Records Management: Centralize and automate the retrieval, auditing, and processing of medical records to ensure compliance, rapid billing, and continuity of care. - Lab Workflows & Integrations: Build and manage high-throughput pipelines for laboratory ordering and results routing, ensuring critical diagnostic data reaches clinicians instantly. - Referral Management Infrastructure: Design a centralized, seamless inbound and outbound referral management system to maximize patient volume and streamline care transitions. - Dual-Model Optimization: Develop operational frameworks to maximize FFS volume and capture while building workflows for VBC risk models. - Vendor & Tool Selection: Evaluate, procure, and implement enterprise-grade workflow automation tools to reduce manual overhead across all centralized departments.

Facility Partner Implementation & Integration

- Onboarding Strategy: Standardize and execute the operational playbook for launch and integration within new partner facilities, including skilled nursing, assisted living, and senior care communities. - B2B Workflow Integration: Bridge Central Operations with facility-specific workflows and systems to ensure seamless clinical coordination. - Joint Governance: Establish implementation timelines and operational steering committees with executive leadership at partner facilities to ensure accountability and alignment. - Change Management: Lead on-the-ground training, adoption, and cultural change initiatives to accelerate the utilization of Theoria's services.

Provider Productivity & Experience

- Maximize Clinical Throughput: Develop the tooling and systems required to optimize daily clinician schedules, reduce travel times, and increase active patient-facing hours. - EHR Optimization: Work closely with product teams to streamline the proprietary EHR platform (ChartEasy), minimizing charting friction and preventing provider burnout. - Administrative Automation: Implement automated routing for administrative tasks, including documentation, lab tracking, and prior authorizations.

Value-Based Care Workflows

- Risk Model Tooling: Develop operational tools that embed VBC requirements directly into daily clinical workflows, focusing on preventive intervention and chronic care management. - Hospitalization Prevention: Design real-time tracking systems within Central Operations to quickly identify at-risk patients and lower hospital readmission rates. - Data Integration: Ensure seamless data exchange between Central Operations, remote patient monitoring (RPM) platforms, and facility partners.

Telemedicine Team Operations & Footprint Support

- Daytime Telemed Management: Manage and optimize the daytime telemedicine team to maximize clinician utilization and balance cross-footprint coverage needs. - LEAD Launch Support: Coordinate telemedicine resources to support and stabilize new LEAD facility launches as a secondary operational layer.

Performance Management & Insights

- Executive-Level Scorecards: Create productivity scorecards to monitor provider utilization, billing velocity, lab turnaround times, referral conversion rates, and value-based outcomes. - Enforce Accountability: Utilize analytics to identify low-performing workflows and drive swift process interventions across the regional teams.

Qualifications

- Executive Experience: 10+ years of operational leadership, with a proven track record of building or scaling a Centralized Operations/MSO hub within a fast-growing healthcare organization. - Ancillary Operations Expertise: Proven experience directly managing and scaling high-volume Medical Records (HIM), Lab routing systems, and Referral coordination departments. - Strategic Dual-Model Expertise: Deep, hands-on experience balancing FFS operational metrics (billing velocity, coding accuracy) with VBC workflows (quality tracking, utilization management). - B2B Implementation Track Record: Proven success leading complex, multi-site operational rollouts with external healthcare enterprise/facility partners. - Productivity-First Mindset: Proven track record of deploying technologies and tools that measurably increase clinical team capacity and decrease administrative burden. - Post-Acute Domain Knowledge: Deep familiarity with the post-acute care ecosystem, including skilled nursing facilities, assisted living, and senior care networks. - Telehealth Management Experience: Experience overseeing telemedicine operations or clinical coverage logistics. - Education: Bachelor's degree required; MBA, MHA, or equivalent advanced degree highly preferred. - Skills: Advanced financial modeling, risk-assessment frameworks, contract negotiation expertise, and proficiency with healthcare analytics platforms. Advanced Excel/PowerPoint skills required. - Experience: Preferable experience working with Claude co-workers.

Compensation
