We are seeking an experienced Technical Artist to join us. You will act as the bridge between art and engineering, ensuring the seamless integration of assets, optimizing performance, and pushing the visual boundaries of our projects.
Your Impact:
* Support content Art and Development divisions in achieving visual and technical results.
* Utilizing Unity technical tools and solutions (help in development is a plus) to solve performance issues while executing artistic and game vision
* Cooperate with Art and Development divisions to identify and create art-pipeline optimizations and tools for new and existing production workflow
* Optimize memory and game performance by realizing artistic and gameplay intentions within project constraints
* Real time monitoring performance of the levels and game
* Cooperate with Development division to implement any complex art features
* Create and maintain technical art documentation.
You will bring: General requirements and skills
* VFX\SFX setup \ implementation \ optimization
* Particles, Rigging experience and understanding
* Lighting, Rendering and Post effects experience and understanding
* HDRP \ URP pipelines \ Legacy pipeline
* Multiple platforms optimization experience and understanding
* 3D modeling and texturing pipelines experience and understanding
* 2D assets pipeline understanding ( sprites, scripts, etc )
* Technical support with UI\UX implementation
* Animation pipelines understanding
Art requirements and skills
* Level Art experience and understanding, support and collaboration with the Art division.
* Feeling and understanding of the lighting techniques ( positions, setting up, technical requirements and optimization, baking, light and reflection probes, etc )
* Modeling experience, understanding of geometry requirements and techniques
* Texturing experience, understanding of textures and materials requirements and techniques
* Rigging and skinning understanding
* Shaders setup and scripting
* Animation technical support
* Experience with setting up modular contractors: geometry setup, prefab setup, material blending techniques
Tech ( programming ) requirements and skills
* Basic C# scripting ( for interfacing with gd team, tools, pipeline development)
* Texture Compression by Platform expertise
* Version control Experience (git/svn/perforce/plastic)
* Performance optimization skills (understanding of batching techniques, instancing, light baking, polycount budgets, ram,vram usage consideration)
Will be a plus:
* Shaders creation, optimization and scripting
* Vector and linear math understanding
* Medium C# or C++ scripting ( for interfacing with gd team, tools, pipeline development)
