As a Senior Organizational Development Practitioner, you will set the standard for coaching and organizational development within the company. You will coach leaders to meet a clear standard of management excellence, diagnose organizational leadership, and develop plans to enhance it. You will also mentor practitioners working in the field to improve their skills. This is one of the most senior and demanding roles at Canonical, involving hands-on coaching and organizational development with key leaders, while maintaining credibility in a boardroom setting.

You will work both from the central team and embedded within a leader's organization for periods, sharing insights gained from the field to shape our overall leadership development strategy.

Location: These roles are fully remote, with opportunities across EMEA and the Americas.

We value colleagues who are:

- Precise, ensuring accuracy and clarity. - Reliable, delivering high-quality work that builds trust. - Accessible, collaborating to create user-friendly products. - Adroit, blending enthusiasm, knowledge, adaptability, style, and character.

Desired Skills

- Background in management consulting, comfortable with ambiguity and able to diagnose and propose solutions. - Experience coaching in a distributed, fast-paced, technical environment. - Experience building competency or development frameworks. - Experience designing and running effective workshops or training sessions, both in-person and online. - Skill in developing learning materials. - Experience in talent development, valued alongside but secondary to coaching and consulting expertise.

Benefits

- Competitive compensation based on location, experience, and performance. - Annual performance-based bonus. - A personal learning and development budget of USD 2,000 per year. - Twice-yearly in-person team sprints. - Flexible work environment.
