What This Role Offers
It’s an exciting time to join Remote as a Senior Product Manager on the Remote Build team, where you’ll help customers integrate their existing systems and applications with Remote’s global employment platform.
Remote Build supports customers needing expert guidance to connect with the tools and processes they already use. You will help define reliable, scalable integrations and applications that align with Remote’s deep expertise in global employment, payroll, and compliance.
Your primary goal is to enhance customer engagement by transforming recurring integration needs into repeatable, high-quality experiences that benefit both customers and the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Integration Architecture & Design: Conduct detailed technical discovery on Remote’s APIs and partner APIs. Understand data mapping, data flows, authentication, API keys, edge cases, and compliance requirements across more than 100 countries. - Customer-Led Prioritization: Prioritize integration and app work based on customer needs, product impact, technical feasibility, operational complexity, and repeatability. - Cross-Functional Coordination: Serve as a bridge between engineering, design, operations, GTM, sales, CX, and partners. Translate customer and partner requirements into clear technical specifications, manage dependencies, and ensure smooth delivery. - Quality & Reliability: Focus on data accuracy, sync reliability, error handling, observability, and supportability to ensure integrations function seamlessly in real-world customer workflows. - Measure Integration Impact: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for technical performance, customer outcomes, and business impact, including adoption, reliability, retention, and customer satisfaction. - Repeatable Patterns: Develop repeatable patterns, reference architectures, and implementation playbooks to help customers adopt integrations and apps more efficiently. - Drive Product Feedback: Use integration learnings to provide clear, actionable feedback to Remote teams, suggesting improvements to APIs, CLIs, and the product.
What You Need
- Senior-Level Experience: Proven track record as a Product Manager with a strong focus on integrations, APIs, or platform ecosystems. - Customer Focus: Deep empathy for customers and excellent communication skills to effectively articulate value to non-technical executives and external partners. - Partner-Facing Experience: Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with external organizations and communicate effectively in partner-facing settings. - Stakeholder Management: Strong ability to align cross-functional stakeholders, navigate trade-offs, and keep teams focused on what matters most for customers. - Strong UX Sensibilities: A passion for creating seamless, user-friendly experiences. Understanding of data syncing challenges and solutions in global jurisdictions. - Proficiency in Code: Ability to autonomously build, debug, and ship functional code and prototypes. Proficiency in tools like Cursor and/or Claude Code. - Domain Expertise (HRIS/Payroll - Nice to Have): Experience with HRIS and payroll platforms such as Workday, HiBob, BambooHR, Personio, ADP, Paychex, or similar. Understanding of data models and common integration pain points. - Outstanding Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to explain complex technical integrations to non-technical audiences. - Language: Business-level proficiency in English.

Salary Range
