The Position

This is an incredible opportunity to join Remote and contribute to the development of a new business as a Senior Product Manager, Remote Build. Remote Build focuses on the agentic shift, ensuring AI agents integrate seamlessly into HR and finance systems. You will lead the development and deployment of custom connectors, build bespoke apps and agents, and manage managed services.

General Requirements

- AI/Agents Proficiency: Experience in developing agent-facing or AI-native product surfaces, with a clear understanding of how AI impacts API usage. - Technical Skills: Proficiency in Cursor or Claude Code, with the ability to autonomously build, debug, and deploy functional code and prototypes. - Product Management Experience: Demonstrated success as a Product Manager, particularly in platform, API, or developer-facing projects. - 0→1 Builder: A track record of launching new products or businesses from scratch. - Commercial Mindset: Proven ability to think commercially and understand how connectors, SDKs, or managed services impact revenue, margins, and retention. - Communication Skills: Strong customer-facing communication and collaboration skills, translating needs into clear requirements and aligning cross-functional teams. - Technical Fluency: Familiarity with APIs, REST, webhooks, OAuth, and platform design choices. - UX Sensitivity: A commitment to creating seamless user experiences. - Strategic and Tactical Judgment: Excellent decision-making skills in both strategic and tactical contexts. - Language: Fluent English for both writing and speaking.

Domain Advantages (Nice to Have)

- Experience with HRIS, payroll, or fintech platforms like Workday, HiBob, Personio, BambooHR, Greenhouse, Netsuite, Merge, or Finch.

Key Responsibilities

- Demand Signals and Unit Economics: Aggregate customer feedback and own the packaging and pricing to ensure Remote Build services are repeatable and profitable. - Standard Integrations: Streamline the deployment of existing standard connectors, making them fast and predictable. - Custom Integrations: Develop and productize new connectors based on customer requests, deciding which become reusable. - Custom Apps and Agents: Lead the engagement model and outputs, building custom apps and agents on top of Remote's APIs, MCP, and CLI. - Managed Services: Turn recurring services into a product, creating reusable processes and customer-facing surfaces. - Cross-Function Partnerships: Collaborate with leadership groups, platform product teams, GTM, and customer success to ensure every engagement is successful. - Insights for Platform Teams: Provide clear, actionable feedback to platform and feature teams to inform future product development.

Compensation Philosophy

Remote is committed to fair, unbiased compensation and benefits, ensuring above-market rates in all locations. Our compensation philosophy is based on role, level, and location, with our job titles spanning multiple career levels. The base salary range for this position is $149,750 to $168,500. The actual base pay is determined by factors such as location, transferable or job-related skills, work experience, relevant training, business needs, and market demands.

Remote supports internal mobility, ensuring pay equity and fairness. All compensation changes associated with internal moves are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
