Work Remotely From Anywhere in the United States

Your goal is to transform Beefree's sales process into a well-defined, repeatable, and data-driven revenue model. Beefree offers two primary products: Beefree SDK, an embeddable content creation platform, and RGE Studio, an email production suite under the Really Good Emails brand.

You will primarily focus on Beefree SDK, our most important sales-driven business. It involves technical, consultative sales to SaaS and other companies, requiring involvement from product, engineering, and commercial teams. Successful deals demand robust discovery, multi-threaded account management, and building long-term trust with product and business impact.

To succeed, you must lead by example and stay closely involved. You will take part in key strategic opportunities, support the team on complex deals, and use these experiences to enhance how we qualify, sell, coach, and scale.

This position is not purely managerial, nor is it a senior AE role with a leadership title. We seek someone who still enjoys the sales challenge while also nurturing the team. The ideal candidate will directly contribute to business growth while also establishing coaching, standards, and an operating rhythm that strengthen the team over time.

Your core responsibilities will include:

- Leading and supporting strategic opportunities, especially for Beefree SDK, assisting reps with discovery, deal strategy, stakeholder management, technical alignment, and commercial execution. - Coaching the team to ensure they win live deals, not just reviewing them after the fact. - Owning and improving the sales playbooks: talk tracks, qualification, demo flows, and follow-up standards. - Making the sales process more repeatable and scalable across the full opportunity lifecycle. - Maintaining a clear operating rhythm for pipeline management, forecasting, and deal reviews, without over-complicating the process. - Building a strong partnership with Product and Marketing to refine buyer narratives, improve campaign handoffs, and create shared visibility into pipeline health.

How You Will Work:

- Engage directly to lead by example. Stay close to customers, prospects, and active deals to understand their needs, other solutions they consider, and how Beefree fits. - Support strategic opportunities, helping reps with discovery, demos, stakeholder mapping, technical alignment, follow-up, negotiation, and close plans. - Use this exposure to elevate the team's execution, from discovery and demos to stakeholder mapping, follow-up, negotiation, and close plans. - Establish clear standards through practical guidelines, simple processes, useful playbooks, and consistent coaching. - Collaborate closely with Product, Operations, and Marketing to identify and prioritize high-intent accounts. - Leverage CRM data, pipeline reviews, win/loss insights, and customer feedback to prioritize focus, identify areas for improvement, and discontinue activities that do not add value. - Work closely with Marketing and Product to ensure the sales narrative, enablement materials, case studies, and customer feedback loop accurately reflect buyer interests. - Maintain discipline in planning, forecasting, pipeline quality, and budget allocation without turning the team into a process-heavy organization.

What Success Looks Like in the First 6 to 12 Months:

- You have personally secured strategic deals and set a benchmark for the team to follow. - New Business pipelines are healthier, better qualified, and more transparent. - Deals have clear next steps, stakeholder mapping, and strategic planning. - The team operates on a consistent coaching and review schedule. - The SDK narrative is clear for both technical and business buyers. - Win/loss analysis informs messaging, targeting, and product feedback. - Leadership has clear visibility into pipeline quality and forecast confidence.

What We Are Looking For:

- A sales leader who remains actively involved in the field. - Recent experience closing technical, developer-led, or platform-driven deals. - SaaS sales leadership experience, preferably in martech, developer tools, or technical SaaS. - Proficiency with CRM data, funnel metrics, and pipeline analysis, using data to drive decisions, not just report. - A genuine coach who fosters judgment, not script-followers. - Remote leadership capability: clarity, energy, and accountability in a distributed team. - Strong communication skills across calls, demos, executive conversations, and webinars. - Familiarity with product-led growth (PLG) and the ability to interpret product signals and collaborate across the organization to support sales-assist motions. - A genuine curiosity about the tasks Beefree's products perform and a true passion for the company’s mission. - Additional points for experience selling to technical buyers. Comfort with APIs, embedded software, production versus staging, Model Context Protocol, and agentic UX.
